I threw a baby shower for my sister-in-law yesterday. This is her 3rd child & first GIRL!! Everyone is excited to have another girl in the family. We love our boys, but their is something special about little girls. They have so many cute items for little girls. I have fun planning & preparing this shower.

For food....I maked smoked weenies wrapped in bacon rolled in brown sugar.[ YUMMO! ] Chocolated covered granny smith apples, ham rolls . I made the cutest little cuppy cakes! I used confetti cake mix & topped them with strawberry frosting, star sprinkles and a little bottle favor for the topper. We also had ham & cheese finger sandwiches and chips w/ awesome dip.

GAMES:

We played a few games. We started off playing the clothes pin game. You can't say baby, my sister-in-law's name or cross your legs. Second, we played the nursery rhymes game. You had to fill in the blank , and see how many you can get right. Third, we played pass the dirty diaper. We played with music. When the music stops, whoever is holding the diaper is out. You keep playing until there is one person left. Then they are the winner! Fourth, we played how many items can you remind from the tray. There were 10 baby items on a tray shown to everyone for a brief moment, then the tray was taken away. You had to see how many items you can remind that was on the tray. Lastly, we played how many names can you get out the baby's name. The baby's name is Isabella Rose. My mom brought this game. I got to play & I actually won this game with coming up with 22 names!!

My sister-in -law opened all her gifts and then we actually got to walked across the street , one of my neighbors were having a yard sale with tons of nice baby items!! So needless to say, she got a ton more goodies for the baby. She now hows alot of pink for a change instead of blue :)

We are all excited! My sister-in -law is due in February!!!

So this is where all my time has been for the last few days. Cleaning , prepping and preparing. It was a blast!!!
