About Nomad


In 1997, two shoe salesmen wandered from city to city, store to store, inspired by an idea that would transcend into something they never thought imaginable. Their dream was to build a brand that would represent the free-spirited individual; the individual who followed trends and appreciated fashion, but never forgot who they truly were. Hence, Nomad was born; representative of their own ideals, as well as the nomadic attitude that lives within each “nomad” girl.

Being one of the pioneers of the high EVA foam sandal, Nomad Footwear journeyed from the junior fashion market, making its mark in the shoe industry. Since then, Nomad Footwear has transformed its styles to shoes like the Cork Wedge, creating styles that could be worn by any girl, day or night.

The logo of the little red man encompasses the ideals of Nomad Footwear. Like the vibrantly colored historical figure, Nomad Footwear has continued stay true to the origins of their company, passionately striving to create shoes that not only provide comfort, but also original styles and versatility to all of its loyal customers. Gypsy Pewter

 Nomad Footwear. I am brand new to the Nomad Footwear name. I am so glad I discovered Nomad Footwear. I fell in love at first sight/wear!! It was super duper hard to select just ONE pair for my review. There was so many cute pair of footwear. 

I live in hot, sunny Florida, so I am always wearing flip flops. So I decided to choice a pair of sandals instead. 


After looking through all the sandals section, I chose the Gypsy Pewter Sandals in size 8 1/2.  They arrived very quickly, and came in a black and red box. (as pictured above) I opened up the shoe box and the new shoe aroma filled my nose. I love the smell of new shoes! 


The sandals are light weight and made very well. I loved pewter color and rhinestone combination. These sandals have become my new favorite pair, not just because they are new, but because they go so well with everything!! I have also received compliments on them. They are very cute! I am  very pleased with my Nomad Gypsy sandals!!! 

Nomad has for women: sandals, flats, casual & everyday, heels & wedges and boots. For kids: sandals, flats and boots. 


They also have mommy and me collections!! Super cute!!
